Topic 4: Ways to Share Digital Resources

Check your internet stability and your devices such as microphones and cameras before sharing digital learning resources.

Consider the following criteria before choosing a file transfer and storage method:

  • Convenience for you and the students.
  • File size.
  • Storage, and retrieval.
  • Time spent.
  • Privacy.

For example, using a specialized platform for teachers to share digital resources might be easier if you have a large group of students. It might be Microsoft Teams or Google Classroom. This way, it is possible to send a file at once to all your students. In contrast, with a small group of students it might be easier to send files via a messaging app.

Email, Dropbox, or links are also options for sharing learning digital resources. Dropbox backs up your files to the cloud and makes them accessible online.
